Media exploration, art appreciation, skill development and creative/critical thinking are the tenants of this class. Each unit centers around a group of elements and principals of design, an art movement or style and critical thinking questions that drive the students understanding not only artistically but also cross-curricularly. We dive into social and environmental justice to explore how the students can become not only better artists, but better global citizens.
